I am a multidisciplinary artist dedicated to the arts of the spirit. I conceive of music and dance as tools for the expression and access of the soul that transcend borders and beliefs, tools that can unite us in a single community of human beings.
About Deva
Deva Baumbach is a Mexican multidisciplinary artist, creator of the Musical Mandala, certified leader of Universal Peace Dances from the international INDUP and co-creator of the Mujer Despierta meetings in Mexico and Europe. At the same time, she Facilitates sacred art encounters in which music and dance are tools for self-knowledge and development of the BEING. Deva has been teaching for 10 years and leads blessing and passage ceremonies for families, offering her work with the purpose of strengthening the community as well as cultivating awareness through art, since it is a universal language that transcends cultural barriers. Her training is based on singing, human voice, theatrical voice, dance, music, holistic healing, Sufism and Zen meditation. She is a lover and protector of the sacred life on Mother Earth.
